Plum 梅 méi

In Chinese literature, the plum is compared to a freshly flowered but as yet untouched girl.

It is a symbol of winter and innocence. Each part: trunk, flowers, peduncle, ovary, calyx, stamens, leaves have their own symbolism.

Through their painterly expression, few plants symbolize the Chinese cosmos in the same way as a plum tree.

When creating this lamp, I used the original Chinese pattern.
